I don’t know about you, but here at TerpNutrition we take care of our dogs as much as we do ourselves. Although these are not hoomans treats, they are made with human grade ingredients. Our all-natural dog treats are a delicious way for your furry best friend to enjoy the benefits of CBD. Just like the human body, dogs have an endocannabinoid system, which is a series of receptors that are responsible for CBD working with our bodies. This product is in compliance with the 2018 farm bill and contains less than 0.3% THC.

Recommended Starting Servings
Small/Medium Dogs (11-25lbs.) 1/4 -1/2 treats
Medium Dogs (25-50lbs.) 1/2- 1 treats
Large Dogs (Over 50lbs.) 1-2 treats

We recommend up to 5mg of CBD per 10 lbs per day. The above recommendations are starting dosages. Every dog’s body is different with different needs. We always suggest starting off low and increasing gradually until your dog’s desired effect is reached. We have seen small dogs with naturally higher tolerances and larger dogs with lower tolerances and vice versa. Start small and work your way up. If you have any questions regarding our PuppSupps or giving CBD to your dog, feel free to email us at info@terpnutrition.com. A veterinarian’s advice should be sought before using this and any supplemental dietary product.

Endocannabinoid System In Dogs
Studies show that the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is found in all animals, including dogs. There are 2 major differences regarding the ECS between dogs and humans. 1. The number of CB1 receptors in dogs exceed those found in human. 2. Dogs’ epidermal architecture contains two to three layers of cells, whereas human epidermis contains six to seven layers of cells. This suggests that the effects of CBD are far greater for dogs than humans.

Why Your Dog Should Be Taking Our PuppSupps

Why Your Dog Should Be Taking Our PuppSupps PuppSupps

Studies have shown that CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting the endocannabinoid receptor activity, reducing inflammation and interacting with neurotransmitters.

Studies show that CBD reduces plasma concentrations and seizure frequency in dogs with epilepsy.

Studies currently suggest that CBD exhibits anti-anxiety and anti-depressant effects in animals by activating the 5-HT1A serotonin receptors.

My pit bull absolutely loves these treats! He has terrible anxiety when we go in the car and it helps calm him down if we give him a treat 30 minutes before. Thank you Terp for incredible dog treats!

  2. Shelby

I have a 9 year old rottie mix and she has always has bad anxiety in the car since we rescued her. When we found out about the puppsupps my heart was so happy! It was even better when she slept and laid down the entire 4 hour car ride. She was so calm and happy in the car for the first time.
