In light of the dynamic situation with COVID-19, our Leadership and Quality Management Teams have been closely monitoring the developing situation in our communities and throughout the world. TerpNutrition is committed to caring for the health and well-being of our clients, partners, employees, and our communities by playing a constructive role in supporting and actively following the recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). We proactively implemented the following enhance precautionary measures to ensure our facility is not impacted:
Enhanced Cleanliness – Our standard cleaning procedures have always used EPA-certified cleaners and sanitizers for food manufacturing to maintain the cleanliness of our facility and equipment. We have implemented incremental cleaning protocols to increase the frequency of cleaning and sanitization of common surfaces to help minimize the risk of any transmission of pathogens.
Reinforcement of Handwashing, Respiratory, and Personal Hygiene Etiquette – We continue to support and reinforce good personal hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and handwashing procedures to minimize transmission of disease by proving the necessary training and supplies to our team.
Enhanced Monitoring and Communication of Employee Health – We actively communicate with our team to be vigilant about their health and the health of those around them to minimize the risk of any transmission of germs or viruses. In accordance with the WHO, CDC, CDPHE, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices, ill employees are excluded from the facility to prevent the spread of disease. Employees are required to received clearance from a medical professional prior to returning to work.
At this time, there is no disruption in our production schedule and our facility is in full operation, adhering to all government and health regulations. We will continue to monitor the domestic and global impacts and developments, will adjust to the emerging situation, and will do our part to reduce the spread of the COVID-19.
